Bathroom scale review: A weighty issue*

It's getting to that time of year again - the party season! The invites come flooding in, the need to buy new beautiful dresses arises (like we need an excuse?) and you've got a few pounds -or more to loose. We've all being there - some more than others I am sure, but what ever your reason for losing weight or tracking weight is pointless without the right type of scales to do it.

When it comes to weight loss, for me I prefer to have the option of weighing with either pounds or stone - sometimes I like to mix it up a bit you see, for most scales this would mean you'd require two separate sets, we ain't got room for that!! Space is a hot commodity in my bathroom so anything that can save space is a welcome addition. Getting back to the point at hand, I'm choosy when it comes to my bathroom scales so when the opportunity came from  Ozeri to test out one of their products, I knew I had to jump at the chance.

For those who don't know Ozeri are an electronics company or according to the website " a digital lifestyle products manufacturer", they started out supplying to hotels/time-share and other accommodation with their products - now they are branching out into the big wide world of the consumer market.
They have several ranges included in their product line: digital lifestylekitchenbathroom and health and fitness, something for every room in your home. I was sent the Ozeri Precision II digital bathroom scale.

  • New 2011 scale uses 4 high precision GX sensors that weigh up to 440 pounds (200 kilograms) in 0.2lb or 0.1kg increments.
  • Features a new widescreen LCD with xBright technology provides immediate and easy to read results.
  • InstaOn technology captures the precise weight measurements upon contact (no tapping required).
  • Award-winning design features an oversized platform made of impact-resistant tempered glass, with a convenient unit Button to switch between lbs, kgs, and st.
  • Auto-calibrated and automatically turns off to conserve battery life. Runs on 4 AAA batteries for better performance

I was impressed with the look of these scales - with the glass body and stylish design, these scales will easily fit into any home d├ęcor, so no worries there.
They are a sturdy feeling product and don't feel at all cheap (highly important I'm sure you'll agree) .
To choose between stones, pounds or kilograms - you firstly need to step on the scales to turn them on, then you'll need to turn them over to locate this little baby - the switching button

These scales run on 4 AAA batteries (which are included) and have an auto turn off function, to help save those batteries!!

These scales retail at £29.95 but are currently on sale for £17.95.
If you like to purchase these scales or anything else from the range then check out Amazon, where there are lots of products to choose from.
